CONFIDENCE IS POWER

CONFIDENCE IS POWER

How To Truly Believe In You

How many powerful and successful women do you know that have no confidence? Probably zero because confidence and success go hand-in-hand. Learning to believe in yourself opens up so many possibilities, and will allow you to be the badass woman we want you to be. It’s time to say goodbye to doubt and hello to confidence!

Everything you have and do in your life is because of self-belief. You cook the dinner you love because you know how to, you pick the right clothes because you know that you look good in them, you got the job because you believed that you could…the list goes on.

Check out our top tips to help you believe in yourself:

1- Affirmations

“I’m successful. I’m strong. I’m a badass woman.” Your affirmations can be about anything you like, and you can say them as many times as you want to; the important thing is to say them! Make the words matter to you and repeat them until you believe them. Say them in front of a mirror, in the shower, or even when you’re walking the dog! Your affirmations may seem small, but they are a powerful reminder of how strong you are and what you are capable of.

2- Give Yourself Credit

Ladies, we should all do this more often! First of all, start by writing down one thing a day that you are thankful for. It could be the new outfit you look amazing in, beating a PB at the gym, or being grateful for your loving family. Then ask yourself how those things happened...I bet your bottom dollar that you’ve played a massive part in it! At the end of your day, or throughout your day, write down things that you did well. Whether your boss praised you, your friend thanked you for something, or if you cooked dinner and it tasted as if it came from a Michelin star chef…write it down and own it!

3- Accept Compliments

How many times has someone complimented you on what you are wearing, for you to then play it down by saying things like ‘this old thing?’ or ‘oh thanks it was in the sale.’ Next time someone compliments you, try accepting it gracefully and simply saying thank you. Or maybe tell them it didn’t look that good on the clothes rail! People don’t compliment you for no reason- own it!

Anything is possible if you want it enough, and once you believe in yourself, the sky’s the limit! Never forget that you are a badass woman, and you are capable of anything that you set your mind to.
