How A Morning Routine Sets You Up For The Day

How A Morning Routine Sets You Up For The Day

The beginning of your day says a lot about how the rest of it will go. Having a solid morning routine to stick to will set you up for the day, empower you, and put you in control. The best thing is, it’s so simple to do!

The first thing to do is to plan the night before. That way, you can rest without worrying about what’s to come, and you will feel empowered from the moment you open your eyes. Then you want to start your day with one or two easy tasks. You don’t want to start your day off with a stressful mind, so the first things you do in the morning should be light work. Make your bed, grab a coffee, or spend a few minutes outside to absorb your surroundings. If you have something to do that day that requires 100% of your mind and energy, you want to do it when your mind is at its strongest point.

Writing down your plan for the next day enables you to sleep and allows your subconscious to work on it while you sleep. Then when you wake up and perform two easy tasks, you start the day off as a winner. Positivity means productivity. This then leads up to your bigger task, but with this routine, you will approach the task with a powerful mentality, and a winning one.

How To Make a Winning Routine

  1. Make a list of all the things you want to do on a daily basis. Then arrange them in order of importance to you. Work out how long each task takes you to do so that you can plan efficiently, and then pop them on your calendar.
  2. Remember what we said about planning your tasks the night before, and starting with the two easiest ones in the morning.
  3. Consistency is key. A routine is most effective when you stick to it every day. Missing a day makes the next day harder to get on top of.

Having a solid morning routine is the best way to set you up for a successful day. Careful planning guarantees consistent execution. You only get one life, and you want to live it in the best way possible. It all starts the moment you open your eyes. Get that routine down on paper and watch the magic happen!
